New players:

Are you interested in playing a co-ed team sport? Are you looking for a fun way to get in shape? Then join Miami Spring Ultimate. Ultimate is a team sport similar to football (without the contact), but played with a frisbee. Like soccer, play is continuous.

Ultimate is also a physically demanding sport. Nothing gets you in shape faster. Don't worry if you can't throw the frisbee. The basics of throwing can be taught in a couple of hours.

Intermediate Players:

MSL is a great way to work on that problem area of your game. Playing under the pressure of a "game situation," but at a level below a tournament allows players to try throws they would not ordinarily make, but still with the pressure of an actual game. My first summer league I worked on defense, always trying to cover the best players. By the time the fall club season came around, I was a defensive stopper, says one aging veteran. During spring league, I perfected the inside-out forehand, a throw I now use routinely, says another.

Veterans:

MSL is a good way to meet new players and have some fun in a co-ed game.
